Apple Shift 1M iPhone 3G’s

by Matthew on July 14, 2008

Apple hit a massive mile stone in just 1 weekend with it’s launch of the iPhone 3G. 1 Million units were sold in the first 3 days of it’s launch, which is a phenomenal amount of phones. The newly-launched App Store didn’t do too bad either as it boasted a staggering 10 million application downloads. The app store which came on-line the day before has proved already to be a success. 500 applications are currently available for download with some of those applications being given away for free. According to the apple site, 90% of those downloads are priced at less then $10.

After speaking yesterday with a new iPhone 3G owner, I am on my way to becoming converted to all this iPhone malarkey.
