hohm_logoMicrosoft Hohm is an online application that lets users get a better understanding of their energy consumption and tips on how to save energy. The Hohm service uses analytics gathered from the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, and it’s this information that can provide you personal energy saving tips.

“We believe technology will play a pivotal role in tackling the global energy issues we currently face”, said Craig Mundie, chief research and strategy officer at Microsoft.

The Hohm service is currently in Beta mode and also currently free for residents of the US. You can get more information about the service as well as registering at Microsoft Hohm.
