Microsoft have released Windows Vista Service Pack 2 for public download. The service pack updates both Windows Vista and Windows Server 2008. The service pack brings Vista and Windows Server 2008 right up to-date in terms of security updates that have been released since SP1 was first introduced.
There are various ways of how to download the update with the easiest and quickest way for single computers being done by enabling automatic updates. The second option is to check for updates on the Windows Update service. Finally, there is an option to download the whole package if you are deploying on to multiple machines.
Notable changes to Windows Vista after updating are first off, the removal of the outbound TCP connection limit. Bluetooth 2.1 support has been included as well as improvements to Wi-Fi. Windows Search 4.0 has now been integrated too.
